When chelioplasty is done without implants, fillers, or fat injections, it is most often performed by re-arranging the inner lining of the lip or cheek to add more volume to the lip. It’s WAY too early to know what your final result will look like, and you may have more dental show (seeing your teeth) when all the swelling resolves (this can take 2-3 months). Also, it sometimes just takes a while to get used to looking different, even when it’s a good change.<\/p>\n

If you are still unhappy with your result in 3-6 months, you can talk to your surgeon about reducing the volume of the lip partially or completely.
