SculpSure is a non-invasive body contouring system for the reduction of stubborn fat. Each 25 minute procedure can destroy up to 24% of treated fat cells without surgery. The procedure is FDA-cleared to reduce stubborn fat in the belly, love handles, back, thighs, and now under the chin, and its ideal for people with trouble spots, particularly those that seem resistant to diet and exercise. Though SculpSure is only FDA cleared for fat in the belly, love handles, back, thighs, and now under the chin….. As long as the frame fits, we can use it in that area to treat.<\/p>\n
SculpSure is similar to other fat reduction treatments like CoolSculpting and Vanquish. All three treatments use technology to target and damage fat cells, allowing your body to naturally process them away. SculpSure uses a flat, non-suction applicator to bring the temperature of the fat up to 42 to 47 degrees Celsius (107.6 to 116.6 degrees Fahrenheit), a destructive temperature, while keeping the skin safe and cool.<\/p>\n
During the procedure most patients feel deep warmth and tingling sensations intermittently throughout the treatment, which is generally well-tolerated. There’s no downtime following SculpSure treatments, and patients are free to resume their daily activities right away. While there’s no actual downtime, it is recommended that\u00a0patients stay well-hydrated for 24 to 36 hours after treatments. Patients are also asked to massage the treated areas three to four times a day for three days after the procedure. This minimizes the chance of any lumps or bumps.<\/p>\n
After the procedure, patients may start to see results as early as 6 weeks following treatment as the body begins to eliminate the destroyed fat cells, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks.
