Goldberg MD is considered one of the top plastic surgeons West Palm Beach has to offer.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"do_i_pay\"><a id=\"consultation fee\" name=\"consultation fee\"><\/a>Do I have to pay for my consultation?<\/h3>\n<p>We charge a $200.00 surgical consultation fee, but it becomes a credit on your account that can be used on any product or service we offer. We charge a $100 consultation fee for all other appointments.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"will_i_have_a_scar\"><a id=\"scars after surgery\" name=\"scars after surgery\"><\/a>Will I have a scar after plastic surgery?<\/h3>\n<p>Scarring is inevitable any time an incision is made, however, a very fine scar placed in the correct orientation may become virtually invisible. As a plastic surgeon, I\u00a0have spent years mastering techniques to place scars in the most desirable locations, like areas hidden by undergarments or along natural creases. We use only the finest instruments and sutures (stitches) to give patients the best possible scar. The color of scars will normally fade over time, but areas of the body with thicker skin or more movement are prone to more noticeable scarring regardless of the technique used for closure. Also, the severity of the scarring varies from person to person since a large part of wound healing is based on genetics.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"scheduling\"><a id=\"Neurotoxins at first visit\" name=\"Neurotoxins at first visit\"><\/a>I am scheduling an appointment for neurotoxins or filler injections, will this be done at my first visit?<\/h3>\n<p>In general, the first visit is a consultation for evaluating the area and deciding the best course of treatment. You need to have ample time to consider the risks of the procedure in order to make an informed decision about the treatment plan. Also, certain medications may need to be stopped before a procedure can safely be performed. Occasionally injections are performed the same day as the initial consult, but most in office procedures are scheduled within 2-4 weeks of the initial consultation.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"how_do_i_know\"><a id=\"procedure done?\" name=\"procedure done?\"><\/a>Where will my surgery or procedure be done?<\/h3>\n<p>Most non surgical procedures are done in our office located at 224 Chimney Corner Lane. However, we own and operate a Level C AAAASF accredited surgery center located on the third floor of 224 Chimney Corner Lane.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"how_much_pain\"><a id=\"pain?\" name=\"pain?\"><\/a>How much pain will I be in during and after my procedure?<\/h3>\n<p>For office procedures like injections or small skin surgeries, we use topical numbing creams followed by injected local anesthetics to numb the area. After the procedure, ice packs and Tylenol will be enough to keep you comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>For more extensive procedures in the office, oral pain medication and muscle relaxers\u00a0will be given before and after surgery. Even when IV anesthesia is used, nerve blocks are performed at the time of surgery to minimize discomfort upon waking up.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"long_take\"><a id=\"schedule a consultation\" name=\"schedule a consultation\"><\/a>How long does it take to schedule a consultation?<\/h3>\n<p>Consultations with Dr. Goldberg are typically on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Consultations for neurotoxins, fillers, laser procedures, Coolsculpting, CoolTone and Neograft transplant procedures are on Tuesdays,\u00a0Thursdays and Fridays. Saturday consults and evening visits are available by appointment only.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"how_soon\"><a id=\"How soon can I have my procedure\" name=\"How soon can I have my procedure\"><\/a>How soon can I have my procedure?<\/h3>\n<p>Some patients are motivated, decisive, and ready to book surgery when they have their consultation. If the procedure is performed in the office so that formal medical clearance is not needed, the procedure may be possible within 1-2 weeks if the office schedule allows. For procedures in the operating room, usually at least 3 weeks is needed to coordinate pre-operative clearance. Depending on the length of the procedure, the operating room schedule, and patient flexibility, it can sometimes take 2-3 months from the initial consultation.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"you_offer\"><a id=\"Financing?\" name=\"Financing?\"><\/a>Do you offer financing?<\/h3>\n<p>We offer financing through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drdanamd.com\/for-patients\/procedure-financing\/\">Care Credit and Alphaeon<\/a> Medical Financing.
